John 9:39 Meaning Jesus Said
Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”

John 9:39 · World English Bible
Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”
The judgment love brings is not a sentence passed on persons but a sorting of two ways of seeing. Those who know they are in darkness, who no longer trust the ego's sight, are made able to see truly, because a mind that admits its blindness is open to be led.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
The judgment love brings is not a sentence passed on persons but a sorting of two ways of seeing. Those who know they are in darkness, who no longer trust the ego's sight, are made able to see truly, because a mind that admits its blindness is open to be led. This is the whole condition of the miracle: the willingness to have been wrong.
But those certain they already see, who defend their own perception as the truth, close themselves to correction and so remain in the dark they will not admit. The light does not blind them; their insistence that they need no light is itself the blindness, and love only reveals the choice each mind has already made.
World: the dream of separation where the mind's manner of seeing is brought to light and its true choice revealed Jesus: the presence of love whose coming sorts real sight from false, giving vision to the mind that owns its blindness

EGO & BEING
There are two kinds of sight. One belongs to the mind, which looks at the world and quickly labels everything, certain it already knows. The other is a deeper seeing, the awareness that perceives directly, before thought names anything. The tragedy is that those most sure they see are often the most blind, because their certainty is only a screen of concepts laid over reality.
When you admit that your mind's knowing is not the same as awareness, something opens, and real sight begins to look through you. But the one who clings to being right stays trapped behind their own thoughts, mistaking opinions for vision, and so remains unable to see what is actually here.

ESOTERIC
The awakened Christ-consciousness enters a person as a dividing light that reverses inner sight. Those who see not are the faculties that admitted they were dark, making no claim, and to them the inner eye opens. Those who see are the parts sure of their own vision, the fixed certainties that trust the outer eye and call it enough; before the higher light these go dark, because their confidence was the very blindness. The coming is a judgment in the sense of a separation, sorting genuine inner sight from borrowed outer looking.
When the Christ within rises, the humble unknowing in a person begins to perceive and the proud knowing loses its grip, so the eyes that trusted only the surface can no longer see.
World: the outer field of a person's ordinary awareness, where inner sight is sorted from surface looking Blind: the darkening of the faculties that trusted the outer eye and were sure of their own vision
Christian Psychology lens
Where am I so certain I can see that I have stopped looking?
A cup that is already full can take nothing, so the first teaching is to empty it. Students who arrive certain leave the same way.
To know that you do not know is the beginning of knowing. To think you already know is the sickness itself.
If anyone can show me I am wrong, I will gladly change, because it is only stubbornness that ever harms me. The willingness to be corrected is not weakness, it is how you stay in touch with what is true.
