Jude 1:24 Meaning Now to Him Who Is Able

Now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy,

What does Jude 1:24 mean?

There is a stillness within you that cannot fall, because it rests on nothing that can be lost. When you are identified with your thoughts and roles, you stumble endlessly, afraid of the next collapse.

EGO & BEING

Ego v. Being

There is a stillness within you that cannot fall, because it rests on nothing that can be lost. When you are identified with your thoughts and roles, you stumble endlessly, afraid of the next collapse. The awareness beneath all of that has no edge to fall from.

To stand faultless before glory is not to have earned a spotless record. It is to be so fully present that the ego, with its catalog of failures, has dissolved, and only the quiet joy of Being remains. You are kept from falling because you rest in the awareness that stays, not in the passing forms that rise and break.

SUFISM

Sufism

A person walking a dark road trusts a steadier hand at the elbow more than his own sure feet. The quiet fault this exposes is pride, the belief that one stands upright by personal strength. The heart that leans on itself is the heart most likely to fall.

The cure is to lean instead, to admit the need for holding and let it be given. God is present twice over: as the hand keeping a wanderer from stumbling now, and as the joy waiting at the road's end, where the same One will present a faultless heart before His glory.

  1. Next time you replay a mistake in your head at night, let the replay happen and watch it instead of joining it. The one watching is not the one who failed.
  2. If someone criticizes you today, take a slow breath before answering and feel your feet on the floor. You can hear it fully without your whole self being on the line.
  3. When a deadline slips or a message lands badly, say to yourself quietly, this is happening, and I am still here. The situation stays difficult, but you stop falling inside it.

What were you afraid of losing today that was never actually you?
