Judges 21:21 Meaning And See

and see, and behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in the dances, then come out of the vineyards, and each man catch his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

What does Judges 21:21 mean?

The dance is the movement of the inner spirit, the ecstasy of meditation, energy set whirling within a person until the higher and lower can be joined. The men wait in the vineyards, and the vineyard is the right hemisphere of the brain, higher consciousness itself.

The dance is the movement of the inner spirit, the ecstasy of meditation, energy set whirling within a person until the higher and lower can be joined. The men wait in the vineyards, and the vineyard is the right hemisphere of the brain, higher consciousness itself. They do not lie in wait as enemies to it. They rise out of that very ground to take a partner and carry her home.

Benjamin means son of the right hand, and the right hand is the right hemisphere; so the whole motion runs toward the same place the vineyard already is, the higher side of the head. This is a sacred joining, the marriage of the 2 natures inside a person. The spirit begins to dance, the higher ground opens, and what was scattered is gathered and led back to the right side. 2 become one, and the one is seated where the light lives.

Vineyard: the right hemisphere of the brain, higher consciousness, the ground the men rise from. Benjamin: son of the right hand, the right hemisphere, the higher side of the head where the joining is carried home.

Live Judges 21:21 today

  1. Put on a song you love and move to it for three minutes with nobody watching, no mirror, no phone. The point is the two halves of you agreeing.
  2. With someone close today, stop trying to win the point and instead find the one thing you both actually want. That is where the joining starts.
  3. When a room goes tense and everybody picks a side, be the one who looks for the common ground out loud, gently, without needing credit for it.

What two parts of me have been pulling in opposite directions, and what would it take for them to move together?
