Leviticus 23:42 Meaning You Shall Dwell in Temporary Shelters

You shall dwell in temporary shelters for seven days. All who are native-born in Israel shall dwell in temporary shelters,

What does Leviticus 23:42 mean?

The booth is the epiphysis, and to dwell in it is to abide in the pineal gland, the small hidden shelter in the head where the spirit is meant to rest. The command to live in that booth is the instruction to draw consciousness up out of scattered outer life and settle it at the single point within.

The command to live in that booth is the instruction to draw consciousness up out of scattered outer life and settle it at the single point within.

The 7 days are the 7 centers along the spine that the life-force must pass through to reach that dwelling, the ladder rising to the pineal shelter at its top. Every one born into the awakened line is to make this inward home, not a tent of branches for a festival but the living seat in the head where the higher self dwells.

Live Leviticus 23:42 today

  1. Before the first scroll of the day, sit for two minutes with your eyes closed and your attention resting just behind your forehead. That is the small room you live in, and most mornings you leave it before you ever arrive.
  2. When you are with someone today, come back from wherever your mind wandered and settle inside your own head before you speak again. People can feel the difference between being talked at from far away and being met by someone who is home.
  3. In traffic, in a long line, in a meeting that is going nowhere, stop sending yourself out to every irritation and come back to the quiet point inside. The outside stays the same. You stop being scattered across it.

Where does my attention actually live most of the day, and would I call that a home?

Tao Te Ching

Turn the senses inward and close the outer gates. The one who stays home within is never used up by the world outside.

Bhagavad Gita

Draw the attention back from where it scatters, the way a turtle pulls its limbs in, and rest it at a single point inside. That gathered place is the real dwelling.
