Leviticus 25:4 · World English Bible
but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to Yahweh. You shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard.
There comes a time to let the field lie still. Not to sow, not to prune, not to improve, but simply to rest.
From the Ego v. Being reading below.
The same verse, read by one tradition.

EGO & BEING
There comes a time to let the field lie still. Not to sow, not to prune, not to improve, but simply to rest. The ego knows only doing. It measures its worth by its striving and cannot imagine that anything good could come from stopping.
Yet stillness is not emptiness. When you take your hands off the ground and allow things to be as they are, a deeper life goes on working without your interference. The land recovers precisely because no one is laboring over it, and that rest is what makes the coming growth possible.
Ego v. Being lens
What in my life might be healing right now, if only I would stop working on it?
The way does nothing, and yet nothing is left undone. Let things settle of themselves and they find their own order.
Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes and the grass grows by itself.
Still water gives a clear reflection. Stir it to improve it and you only lose the picture.
