CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

The law is without exception because it describes the mind's own nature, not the mood of a distant judge. What a mind genuinely asks for it receives, for asking with sincerity is the same act as accepting. There is no one for whom this fails, because the receiving is not granted from outside but is the natural completion of the wanting itself.

Seeking and finding are not two separate events with an uncertain gap between them. To turn toward truth wholeheartedly is already to have begun to find it, and to reach for the door is to feel it give. The mind was never kept waiting by any power but its own hesitation, and where that hesitation ends, the answer is simply there.

Door: the threshold of the mind's own choosing, which opens without exception to whatever the mind sincerely reaches for.

Live Luke 11:10 today

  1. Stop waiting for a sign before you begin the thing you have already decided on. Turn off the phone for twenty minutes and take the first step as if the answer were already yes.
  2. Pay attention to how fast someone responds when you ask them something real, and let that teach you how often you have assumed a no in advance. Thank them for showing up.
  3. In the middle of a stressful day, when you catch yourself bracing for a closed door, walk up to it anyway. Send the email, raise the hand, make the request, and let the result be the result.

How much of my waiting is really my own hesitating?
