Luke 13:13 · World English Bible
He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight and glorified God.
When love touches a mind, the change is not gradual, for guilt was never a real weight that must be lifted by degrees. The bent thought is made straight at once, because there was nothing to cure but a mistaken belief, and belief can be laid down in an instant.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
When love touches a mind, the change is not gradual, for guilt was never a real weight that must be lifted by degrees. The bent thought is made straight at once, because there was nothing to cure but a mistaken belief, and belief can be laid down in an instant. The touch asks nothing of the body; it changes only the mind that looks, and the straightening is simply what a mind does when the weight it imagined is released.
And the freed thought does not praise itself. Made upright, it turns at once toward its Source, for a mind healed remembers where its healing came from. This is the whole movement of the miracle: a shift of perception, and then gratitude that looks upward instead of down.
Hands: love's direct reach into the mind, the gentle correction that touches thought itself and asks nothing of the body Woman: the healed mind made straight, the once bowed thought that now stands upright and turns toward its Source
Christian Psychology lens
What would change right now if I believed the weight was already gone?
Nothing is gained in waking up. The sun did not travel to reach you; the clouds simply moved.
The way forward is by taking away, not adding. Keep setting down until there is nothing left to set down.
What is real was never absent, and what was never real cannot be lost. Seeing this clearly is the whole of the change.
