MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The certain man is the awareness of being that everyone carries, the sense of I AM that is the Father of all a person becomes. His two sons are two directions that one power moves in you. One stays home. He never questions where he came from, content at the source. The other wanders out into the world of the senses, spends himself chasing what seems to be outside, and forgets that the source of everything is his own imagination.

Both sons are states inside the same person, not a parent and his children living long ago. The whole thing turns on the wandering one waking up and coming home. The son who leaves is you as you are now, lost in appearances. The son who returns is you the moment you remember that what you assume within is what hardens into your life.

The father's house here is your own head, the brain out of which every state of mind is fathered. 2 sons stand in it, the 2 awarenesses a person carries at once: the body and the spirit, the earthly reach and the light that answers to God. One will stay near the father, and one will wander down into the far country of the senses and spend itself there.

The number 2 is the awareness of body and spirit held together, and the story that follows is the whole journey of the lower mind leaving the head, exhausting itself in the flesh, and climbing back up to the higher. The son who leaves is not lost forever. He is the part of you that must go down before it turns and comes home.

Father: the head, the brain, the source out of which every state of mind is born 2: the awareness of body and spirit carried together in one person 2 sons: the earthly reach of the lower mind and the light that answers to God, the pair that lives in every head

Live Luke 15:11 today

  1. Sometime today, probably while scrolling, you will feel that pull that says the good life is out there in someone else's photos. When it comes, set the phone down and ask quietly who is doing the wanting. That turn inward is the whole journey.
  2. With someone close to you, catch yourself saying "if only they would change." Try instead to shift what you assume about them inside yourself, and see how the room feels different before they have said a word.
  3. Stuck in traffic or standing in a long line, you will feel that the circumstance is doing something to you. Remember, right there with your hands on the wheel, that you are the one imagining this day and not just the one receiving it.

Where today am I chasing something outside that I am actually the source of?

The self you have been searching for in the world is the self doing the searching. Everything outside is a reflection of what you already carry.
