Luke 22:29 · World English Bible
I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,
The higher self within confers rulership on the faculties that have stayed faithful, passing down the same dominion it received from the source above it. The kingdom is the inner reign of ordered consciousness, and it descends by a chain: the ground of being grants it to the awakened center, and that center grants it to the parts of a person prepared to hold it.

ESOTERIC
The higher self within confers rulership on the faculties that have stayed faithful, passing down the same dominion it received from the source above it. The kingdom is the inner reign of ordered consciousness, and it descends by a chain: the ground of being grants it to the awakened center, and that center grants it to the parts of a person prepared to hold it.
Authority in a person is inherited, not seized. What the crown of awareness has been given from its own origin it hands on to the disciplined faculties beneath, so the whole self comes under one governed order. The rule a man exercises within is the same rule that flowed into him from the deep source, now extended through his being.
Kingdom: the inner reign of ordered consciousness, the governed dominion passed down from the source to the awakened self and on to its faithful faculties Father: the deep source of being from which authority within a person originally flows
Esoteric lens
Where are you grabbing for control you were never given, and where are you refusing authority you actually have?
The human follows the earth, the earth follows heaven, heaven follows the Way. Nothing at the bottom of that line invents its own authority; each one receives and passes on.
The power to reason and choose inside you is not your private invention. It is a piece of something larger, on loan, and you govern yourself with borrowed light.
The body is a chariot, the senses are the horses, and the mind holds the reins. The horses are not wrong to pull, but they are meant to be ruled by what sits above them, not left to run the cart.
