Luke 6:37 Meaning Don’t Judge
Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.

Luke 6:37 · World English Bible
Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.
Judgment is the ego's single act, the dividing of the world into innocent and guilty so that guilt can seem to live outside the mind that made it. But the sentence a mind passes on another it has already passed on itself, for there is only one mind judging, and it cannot condemn a brother without believing it deserves the same.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
Judgment is the ego's single act, the dividing of the world into innocent and guilty so that guilt can seem to live outside the mind that made it. But the sentence a mind passes on another it has already passed on itself, for there is only one mind judging, and it cannot condemn a brother without believing it deserves the same.
Forgiveness undoes the whole exchange at once. It does not pardon a real wrong; it withdraws the accusation and sees that nothing happened but a frightened dream. Releasing the brother, the mind releases itself, because the two were always the same self.

EGO & BEING
Judging looks outward and circles home. The mind that measures another measures its owner, running both scales at once. Condemnation kept warm for others turns on the self the moment it runs out of targets.
When the verdict drops, something loosens inside. Whoever forgives is freed in the forgiving, because the appraising part of the mind goes quiet in them first. No bargain, no reward held out for later. A person who stops sorting the world into guilty and innocent stops being sorted that way in their own chest.

MANIFESTATION
Judgment is not a social fault here but a creative act. The mind that fixes another in a state, calling him a liar or a failure, holds that state in imagination, and imagination is what hardens into fact. So the measure returns. Not because a watching God repays, but because a person lives in the world his own assumptions build, and a condemned brother is a condemned world to walk through.
Forgiveness is the loosening of that hold. To forgive is to let a man out of the state in which he was being kept and to see him in the state of the fulfilled wish instead. The one doing it goes free in the same movement, because the state he grants is the state he occupies. A man speaking this to his own disciples, those untried powers in himself, is teaching them the law they will have to work by.

ESOTERIC
Judgment is a faculty of the lower mind, the measuring intellect that weighs every neighbor and finds the weight wanting. The measure a person sets out is the measure already operating inside, so the condemning eye turns on its own house the moment it opens. Nothing external carries out the sentence. The judge, the court and the accused occupy one body, and the mind that sorts others into guilty and innocent is sorting itself by the same rule, because only one consciousness is present to do the work. Forgiveness releases the charge held in the mind, and the release registers in the one who lets it go, since the debt was never stored anywhere but there. The kingdom within has no second party.
The eye: the single faculty of perception, which sees outward and inward with the same light, so what it condemns abroad it condemns at home. The measure: the standard carried in the lower mind, the yardstick a person lays against others that turns and lays itself against him. The debt: the charge a person holds in memory against another, lodged in his own nervous system until he cancels it.

PSYCHOANALYSIS
The harshness a person aims outward is the same harshness already running inside them, turned on the parts of themselves they refuse to look at. Whoever hunts down a fault in another has usually found it first at home and fled from it. So the warning is practical: the standard you use on others is the one you are already living under.
Forgiveness, then, is not a favor handed out from a safe distance. It is the moment a person stops splitting the world into the acceptable and the condemned, and lets both halves of their own nature live in the same room. Spoken to a crowd of ordinary people, this asks for the slow work of becoming whole rather than good.

BUDDHISM
Anattā: Not-self Every person you would judge is a river, not a stone: the greed that flared in them this morning is already gone, replaced by shame or hope by noon. Fixing them with a verdict pins a fixed self on a stream that has none, so the label is false the moment it dries. Withhold the stamp and you meet who is actually in front of you.
Aññamañña: Mutual conditioning The measure you mete out comes back and lands on you, because your judging and your being judged rise together from the same web of cause. Condemn freely and you train the eye that will one day turn on yourself; forgive, and the same loosening flows back through the web to reach you. This is not reward and punishment but one motion seen from both ends.
Adosa: Non-hatred To condemn is to hand someone their worst hour and call it their whole name. The heart that refuses that, choosing goodwill toward the very person who wronged it, is doing the work "forgive" points to. Set down the hot coal you meant to throw and your own hand stops burning first.
Khanti: Patient acceptance Forgiveness is not a single grand pardon but the daily bearing of people as they are, slow and repeating their faults. Like soil that takes the plow again each season without complaint, this patience holds the offender without the itch to correct or settle the score. It is the muscle that makes "forgive" livable past the first time.
Mettā: Loving-kindness Underneath "forgive" runs the wish that even the one who harmed you be well and at ease. Judging sorts people into worthy and worthless; goodwill refuses the sort and warms the whole room the same. Wish the person released rather than sentenced, and the debt they owed you quietly closes.

CYBERNETICS
Judgment is a habit of attention, and the mind cannot run one habit for others and a kinder one for itself. The courtroom a person keeps open for his neighbor stays open when he walks in. Old emotional scars keep the verdict handy.
Releasing someone else loosens a grip the hand had forgotten it was making. Each of these promises returns on the same channel it went out through, which is why freedom offered becomes freedom received rather than a reward handed down later. A man who drops the sentence he carried for a brother finds his own success mechanism working without that weight.
Christian Psychology lens
What sentence have I passed on someone that I am also quietly serving myself?
The one who insists on right and wrong is like a frog arguing about the size of the sea. Drop the verdict and the world stops being an argument you have to win.
People are not disturbed by what happens but by the judgments they attach to it. Remove the judgment and you remove the injury you thought was done to you.
A student asked for the method and was told: stop picking and choosing. The mind that sorts everything into good and bad is the only thing standing between you and a clear view.
