Mark 14:62 Meaning Jesus Said

Jesus said, “I am. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky.”

What does Mark 14:62 mean?

After the long silence comes a single clear affirmation of what a mind truly is, spoken not to the accusers' fear but to the truth they cannot see. The claim needs no argument, for it names a reality that judgment can neither give nor take away.

After the long silence comes a single clear affirmation of what a mind truly is, spoken not to the accusers' fear but to the truth they cannot see. The claim needs no argument, for it names a reality that judgment can neither give nor take away. The identity here is not the body they are about to condemn but the changeless Son that stands beside all power and shares it.

The clouds are the veil that seems to hide this from sight, the appearances the mind has thrown up between itself and its own Source. To see the Son coming through them is to watch the veil part as fear is laid down. A mind that affirms what it is has already begun to see past the cloud to the strength that was always its own.

Clouds of heaven: the veil of appearances the mind has raised, the mist of fear through which the true Self is finally seen Right hand of power: the place of shared strength where the real Self stands, untouched by any accusation

EGO & BEING

Ego v. Being

When at last he answers, the answer is two words: I am. Not "I am this man," not "I am that title." Simply, I am. He is not making a claim about a personal identity. He is naming the presence that is the very ground of his being, and of yours.

The Son of man is consciousness appearing in human form, and the clouds of heaven are the formless from which all form arises. To say "I am" is to recognize yourself as that same presence, the awareness that every being shares beneath its name. This is not a statement about one special person but about what you most deeply are.

ESOTERIC

Esoteric

The Son of man is Uranus, and its seat at the right hand of power is the right hemisphere of the brain, the higher faculty where mind takes its place beside the ruling force within. To see this one seated there is to find the higher mind installed on the right side of the head, and its coming in the clouds of heaven is its descent through the veiled regions of Uranus into the awareness of the person. The affirmation given plainly opens the whole scene inward, for what is enthroned is a faculty, not a distant man in the sky.

So the promise of a figure arriving from above is the higher mind rising to its rightful seat in the right hemisphere and appearing through the cloud-cover of the inner heavens. The one coming is the mind itself, taking the throne prepared for it on the right side.

Son of man: Uranus, the higher mind that takes its seat within Right hand: the right hemisphere of the brain, the higher faculty's place beside ruling power Heaven: Uranus, the region whose clouds veil the descent Clouds of heaven: the veiled regions of the inner heavens through which the higher mind comes into awareness

Live Mark 14:62 today

  1. When your mood tells you who you are today, worthless, behind, too much, name it as weather. Say the word weather to yourself and keep going. The sky underneath has not changed.
  2. Tell someone one true thing about themselves that has nothing to do with what they produce. Not thanks for the work. Something about who they are.
  3. In the room where you feel smallest, the meeting, the family table, the place your voice shakes, say the one true thing anyway. Say it plainly and without the long apology before it.

If the clouds are not the sky, what have I been calling myself that was only passing through?

The clouds move, the sky does not. Mistaking the weather for yourself is the whole of the confusion.
