The mind that comes seeking a wound will always find an empty grave, because what it fears has already been undone. It expects to meet the crucified, the proof that love can be killed and that guilt is permanent, and instead it is turned toward the place where nothing lies.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
The mind that comes seeking a wound will always find an empty grave, because what it fears has already been undone. It expects to meet the crucified, the proof that love can be killed and that guilt is permanent, and instead it is turned toward the place where nothing lies. Being told not to be afraid is the first instruction of every awakening, for terror is only the mind still bent over a tomb it built itself.
So the messenger points not at a body but at an emptiness, and this is the whole correction. Look at the place you laid your fear and see that it holds nothing. What you thought had died was never harmed, and the mind is free the moment it stops guarding a loss that never happened.
Sepulchre: the tomb of the mind, the sealed conclusion that love has been destroyed and guilt made final Messenger: the voice within that speaks for love, the thought that meets fear at the entrance and turns it toward release
Christian Psychology lens
What am I still guarding that was never actually taken from me?
You search everywhere for the ox while riding it. The thing you are grieving the loss of was never lost, only overlooked.
The man terrified of the shadow beside him ran until he collapsed. He only had to step into the shade and the shadow would have been gone.
Most suffering is the second arrow, the story we build around the first. Look directly at the dread and you find the thing itself was never as solid as the fear of it.
