Mark 9:9 Meaning As They Were Coming Down From
As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

Mark 9:9 · World English Bible
As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
A mind that has glimpsed its own radiance is told to hold the vision quietly, for what has been shown on the height cannot yet be spoken in the valley where fear still teaches. The awakened Self within must first rise fully in awareness before its light can be given without being turned into another idol, another story the ego collects to prove itself special.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
A mind that has glimpsed its own radiance is told to hold the vision quietly, for what has been shown on the height cannot yet be spoken in the valley where fear still teaches. The awakened Self within must first rise fully in awareness before its light can be given without being turned into another idol, another story the ego collects to prove itself special.
Silence here is not concealment but ripening. What the mind has seen is real, and it waits only until the belief in death has been undone within, so that the sharing carries the resurrection itself and not a rumor of it.
Mountain: the raised state of mind lifted above the world's noise, where the Self is seen as it is. Son of man: the Self that seems to sleep in the body and must waken to its own life.

What am I tempted to tell before I have actually lived it?
The one who truly knows does not rush to broadcast it. Something kept quietly keeps its life.
After a real insight, go back to chopping wood and carrying water. Telling the story too soon turns the experience into a performance.
Some things are kept close not to hide them but to let them ripen. Opened too early, the fruit is wasted.
