These are not four men and a family line. They are stages of one person waking up, each name a settled condition of consciousness that gives birth to the next.

MANIFESTATION
These are not four men and a family line. They are stages of one person waking up, each name a settled condition of consciousness that gives birth to the next. Abraham is faith, the first assumption a person makes about himself. Isaac is the joy that follows once the assumption is felt as true. Jacob is the self that supplants an old identity and takes hold of the new. To beget is simply for one inner state to pass a person into the state that comes after it.
Judah, whom the Greek names Judas, is praise, and his brethren are the twelve powers of the mind that gather around it. The whole descent runs toward one figure, David, who is all of humanity fused into a single son. A person moves down this line inside himself until the awareness he lives from becomes the Father who fathered him.
Manifestation lens
Which state of mind are you living from right now, and what is it quietly giving birth to?
Nothing appears on its own. Each state of mind arises out of the one before it, so the way you are now is already seeding the way you will be in an hour.
The tree that fills your arms grew from a sprout you could have missed. The journey of a thousand miles starts under the foot you are standing on.
You are not formed by one grand decision but by repeated small ones. Whatever you practice becomes your character, whether you chose it on purpose or not.
