Matthew 15:28 · World English Bible

Matthew 15:28 Meaning Then Jesus Answered Her

Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

What does Matthew 15:28 mean?

When a mind trusts love completely, without demanding proof or clinging to its own unworthiness, healing follows as naturally as light fills an opened room. Her faith is called great not because it was loud but because it was total, holding nothing back and doubting nothing, and to such willingness love can withhold nothing in return.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

When a mind trusts love completely, without demanding proof or clinging to its own unworthiness, healing follows as naturally as light fills an opened room. Her faith is called great not because it was loud but because it was total, holding nothing back and doubting nothing, and to such willingness love can withhold nothing in return.

So the healing is granted as she wills, for a mind fully joined with love is no longer at odds with what love wants to give. And what is made whole is not only herself but what she carries, since a mind restored to trust cannot help but bring wholeness to everything held within its care.

Woman: the mind that has surrendered its defenses and trusts love without reservation, the willingness that lets healing in. Daughter: what the healed mind holds within its care, made whole the moment the mind itself chooses trust over doubt.

CYBERNETICS

Cybernetics

A mother who refuses to be turned away holds her picture of her daughter's wholeness through every discouragement, and that steadiness is called great. Be it unto thee even as thou wilt, and the child was made whole that hour. Her will and her image stayed one thing, and the outcome matched them.

The deepest self answers to a picture kept against pressure rather than to a timid, half-held wish. When someone holds the end clearly and will not put it down, the mind bends its resources toward that end. The imagined thing becomes fact.

Live Matthew 15:28 today

  1. Say what you actually want today, out loud or on paper, without the hedging you usually add. The half-asked version was never going to be answered anyway.
  2. Trust someone with something real, a worry, a hope, a request, and do not take it back halfway through by laughing it off.
  3. When a plan is in someone else's hands and you cannot do anything more, stop refreshing and let it be in motion. Gripping it harder has never once sped it up.

What would I ask for today if I believed the answer could be yes?
