Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.

What does Matthew 17:3 mean?

2 faculties of one mind stand with the Christ consciousness at the top of the head. Moses is the drawn-out thinking process, the mind pulled up out of formless impulse, and Elias is the forerunner faculty that prepares and announces the higher awareness before it fully arrives.

2 faculties of one mind stand with the Christ consciousness at the top of the head. Moses is the drawn-out thinking process, the mind pulled up out of formless impulse, and Elias is the forerunner faculty that prepares and announces the higher awareness before it fully arrives. Both appear at the crown of the skull because that is where the transfiguration of a person happens, in the highest realm of consciousness.

And their appearing is meant to be taken as more than vision. What looks like 2 dead men returning is a glimpse of how the departed can appear and be recognized in physical form again, the body reassembling across worlds the way quantum physics now imagines travel between parallel universes.

Live Matthew 17:3 today

  1. Think of someone you have lost today, and let yourself remember them as present rather than absent. Say the thing you would say to them, out loud or in your head, while you are driving or washing dishes.
  2. Pass on something a parent or grandparent or old friend taught you, to someone who is still here. Tell the story in the group chat, or at dinner, and let the person who said it first be in the room again.
  3. When you are stretched thin and feeling alone with it, remember the people whose steadiness you borrowed before. Their way of handling the hard thing is still available to you, right there in how you choose to answer.

Who is still with you in the way you think, even though they are not in the room?
