CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
Two orders of things are held apart so the mind stops confusing them. What belongs to the world, the coin stamped with a ruler's face, is the currency of a passing dream, and can be released without loss, for it was never the mind's treasure. What belongs to God is the mind itself, its innocence and love, and this can never be owed to any power on earth.
Releasing the coin is not sacrifice but clarity. Give the dream back to the dream, and keep for the Source what was His, so the mind stops paying its worth into a world that cannot hold it.
Caesar: the world's authority, the passing order that owns only its own dream-currency. Coin: the mind's investment in the world, stamped with borrowed value and safe to release. God: the Source to whom the mind's true innocence and love already belong.

MANIFESTATION
Two realms are separated cleanly, and knowing which is which sets a person free from a great deal of worry. Caesar is the world of visible fact, the coin, the wage, the circumstance stamped with someone else's face. God is your own awareness, the I am within, where states are chosen and life is truly decided. Each is given only what belongs to it.
To render to Caesar is to let outer facts be facts and pay them no more than their due. They are effects, not causes. What belongs to God is the inner assumption, the feeling of being, and this a person keeps wholly for the creative source within. A man in trouble hands the visible situation its small portion and reserves his awareness for the state he means to occupy. The world gets the coin. The self that makes the world keeps the throne.

ESOTERIC
2 orders run through every person and each must be paid its own coin. Caesar is the outer ruler, the body and the world of appetite and law that governs the flesh, and it holds a rightful claim over what belongs to that level, the tribute of ordinary living. God is the inner ruler, the higher self seated in consciousness, and it claims what bears its own image, the spirit and awareness of a person.
The teaching sorts a life into its 2 allegiances without collapsing one into the other. The flesh gets what the flesh is owed and the inner self keeps what is stamped with the divine, and a person lives rightly by knowing which coin goes where.
Caesar: the outer ruler, the body and the world of law and appetite that governs the flesh and its dealings The coin: the self and its image, given to whichever order stamped it, flesh to the world and spirit to the higher self
Christian Psychology lens
What have I been handing over to the world that was never the world's to ask for?
Some things are yours and some are not. Your body, your reputation, your money belong to the world and can be asked back at any moment. Your choices and your character are yours alone.
Hold the passing things as passing, like a dream or a flash of lightning. Nothing is lost when you stop insisting they last.
Favor and disgrace are both unsettling when you stake yourself on them. Return your worth to where it actually lives and the world's verdicts lose their grip.
