Matthew 26:2 Meaning You Know That After Two Days
“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”

Matthew 26:2 · World English Bible
“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”
The betrayal and the cross are the ego's oldest story, the belief that innocence can be attacked and love can be destroyed. Yet what the mind foresees with dread it need not fear, for nothing real can be threatened and the Son of man is not a body to be broken.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
The betrayal and the cross are the ego's oldest story, the belief that innocence can be attacked and love can be destroyed. Yet what the mind foresees with dread it need not fear, for nothing real can be threatened and the Son of man is not a body to be broken. The passover is the passing over of guilt, the moment the mind learns that death has no power where separation is undone.
A mind that hears of coming suffering can meet it two ways. It can believe the story of an innocent life ended, or it can see that only the dream of vulnerability is passing. What seems a defeat is the demonstration that love is not where the ego thought it lived, and cannot die because it was never in danger.
Son of man: the awakened Self appearing within the dream, seemingly vulnerable yet beyond all harm Passover: the passing over of guilt, the mind's release from the belief in death
Christian Psychology lens
What are you bracing for that your fear has already made larger than it will be?
What is real never ceases to be. Weapons cannot cut it, fire cannot burn it, and the fear of its ending belongs to the body, not to what you are.
People are disturbed not by events but by their opinions about events. The dread you carry toward a coming day is a story you are telling, not the day itself.
A teacher asked about death answered, I do not know. What cannot be threatened does not need to be defended, and what dies was never the one asking.
