Matthew 27:15 Meaning Now at the Feast the Governor Was

Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release to the multitude one prisoner, whom they desired.

What does Matthew 27:15 mean?

The choice offered at the feast is the choice you make every moment, to set one state free and hold another bound. The governor is the ruling power in you, your own awareness, and it releases the prisoner the people call for, meaning it lets loose into your life whichever state you decide upon.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The choice offered at the feast is the choice you make every moment, to set one state free and hold another bound. The governor is the ruling power in you, your own awareness, and it releases the prisoner the people call for, meaning it lets loose into your life whichever state you decide upon. Only one is freed at a time. To choose one is to leave the other in custody, and awareness simply carries out the verdict you hand it.

So the drama is not a crowd long ago demanding a name, but the constant sentencing that goes on within a person. He names the state he wants alive, the wish fulfilled, and that one walks out into his world. The state he does not name stays imprisoned and cannot act. What you release by assuming it becomes your reality, and the ruling awareness in you always grants the prisoner you ask for.

Live Matthew 27:15 today

  1. First thing in the morning, before the feed starts talking, choose the one state you want running your day and sit in it for two minutes. That is the one you let out.
  2. When someone hands you an old grievance over dinner, do not take it up. Keep the lighter version of them free and let the complaint stay where it is.
  3. When traffic or a late reply starts the familiar spiral, catch it and swap deliberately. Say inside, "not that one, this one," and give the better state the room.

Which state did I set loose in my life today, and did I pick it on purpose?
