The guards posted to seal the tomb are the lower mind bracing against its own rising nature, calling the promise a deception because it cannot believe the buried light will actually lift.
What looks like fear of a stolen corpse is really the flesh standing watch over the sleeping self, certain the stone will hold. The stone does not hold. On the third day the low sun turns and the inner life climbs out.
Tomb: the material body where the divine part lies dormant, sealed in the dark. 3 days: the winter-solstice interval, the sun at its lowest before it turns and rises into new life.

- If you are at a low point today, stop demanding evidence that it is turning. Treat the bottom as the bottom, not the permanent floor, and do one ordinary thing well anyway.
- When someone tells you they are starting over and part of you doubts it, keep that doubt to yourself and say the encouraging thing instead. Your skepticism is your own stone, not theirs.
