Matthew 28:2 · World English Bible
Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it.
The earthquake is the shaking of the whole physical frame when a higher energy breaks through, the body convulsing as the dead level of the self is overturned. The angel descending from heaven is that power coming down from the crown center into the tomb of the flesh.

ESOTERIC
The earthquake is the shaking of the whole physical frame when a higher energy breaks through, the body convulsing as the dead level of the self is overturned. The angel descending from heaven is that power coming down from the crown center into the tomb of the flesh. The stone sealing the door is the dense block of material consciousness that shuts the awakening self inside its own body, and rolling it back opens the sealed inner chamber. The angel sitting on the stone shows the higher force now settled in mastery over the very weight that had held the self buried.
When a higher power descends into a person, it heaves the body, breaks open the heavy material barrier sealing the inner self, and takes its seat in command over it.
The great earthquake: the shaking of the physical frame as a higher energy breaks through and overturns the dead level of the self The angel from heaven: the awakening power descending from the crown center into the tomb of the flesh The stone at the door: the dense block of material consciousness sealing the inner self inside the body Sitting upon it: the higher force settled in mastery over the weight that had held the self buried
Esoteric lens
What heavy thing in me has been sealing something alive inside, and what would it take to let it roll back?
Before the breakthrough comes the shaking. Great doubt goes through a person like an earthquake, and the old certainty has to crack before any light gets in.
The wound is where the light enters. What breaks the shell is not your enemy, it is the way out.
The stiff and hard belong to death, the soft and yielding to life. What cannot bend gets broken before anything freer can take its place.
