The angel is an angle, an electromagnetic angle of light standing across the brain, arcing between the receptors and pressing on the pineal. That is why the ass, the bodily animal nature carrying the man, halts and senses it while the reasoning rider feels nothing. The body registers the actual field of light before the arguing mind admits anything is there at all.
The way is the inner path of meditation, and the higher mind sets this angle across it as an adversary, a check against the man pushing on in his own will. The 2 servants are the carnal mind attending him, and the whole scene plays inside one person: the animal body feeling the light the intellect cannot yet see.
Angel: an angle of light, an electromagnetic field arcing across the brain onto the pineal
Ass: the bodily animal nature that carries a person and senses the field first
The way: the inner path of meditation on which the man is halted
2 servants: the carnal mind attending the reasoning self
