Ego v. Being

Here is the secret of aligned action. A man is told to go forward, yet to speak only what the deeper intelligence gives him in the moment. He is to act without seizing control, to move while remaining an open channel rather than a scheming mind bent on its own ends.

This is how you are meant to live. You still walk the road and do the work, but you no longer force outcomes from the anxious ego. You stay present and let the right words and actions arise through you. Balaam goes, but he goes surrendered, and that surrender is what makes his path true.

Live Numbers 22:35 today

  1. Take one task you have been forcing today and do just the next small piece of it, with full attention, without rehearsing how it ends. The strain usually lives in the outcome, not the work.
  2. In your next real conversation, drop the lines you prepared and respond to what the person actually just said. Let one answer come out slower than normal because you were listening instead of loading.
  3. When a meeting or a call goes off script, do not grab for control. Stay present, say the next true thing, and let the shape of it come out different from the one you planned.

Where are you pushing for a result that would arrive more easily if you stopped shoving?
