being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

MANIFESTATION
Once a state is accepted inside, it carries itself to completion without further pushing. The feeling that began the work is the same power that finishes it. A wish felt as already fulfilled behaves like a planted seed: the planter walks away and the ground does the rest, quietly, on its own schedule. Only impatience can ruin it. Confidence is leaving the seed alone.
The day of completion is the moment the outer world catches up to what was settled within. Between the assuming and the arriving comes a long silence, and the silence is gestation rather than neglect. What a person accepts as done is already at work becoming visible, and it will keep becoming visible until it stands there in fact. The inner acceptance is both the start and the guarantee.

CYBERNETICS
Confidence here rests on something already under way inside a person, not on a result he must manufacture by strain. A work begun and trusted to finish is a picture of oneself as in the middle of becoming, not stalled and not failed. That expectation quietly shapes the outcome it looks toward.
The mind builds toward whatever end it holds steady, and a man who pictures the good work completed feeds the machinery aimed at that completion. Doubt would keep restarting him at zero. Held confidence keeps the process moving through its stages. A person carrying the settled belief that what began in him will finish stops undoing his own progress with worry.
Manifestation lens
What are you digging up to check on, when the kindest thing would be to let it grow?
The Tao does nothing, and nothing is left undone. Things complete themselves when you stop grabbing at them.
Sit quietly, doing nothing, and spring comes, and the grass grows by itself.
Your part is the action, not the harvest. Do the thing and release your grip on when and how it returns.
