MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The mind spoken of belongs to Christ Jesus, and Christ Jesus is your own wonderful human imagination. To have this mind is to think and feel from the state of the wish already fulfilled, exactly as imagination does when it creates. It does not pretend at the thing while standing outside it. It becomes the state and reasons from within it as the only reality there is.

This is the difference between believing in Christ and being Christ. A man may admire the story and stay unchanged, still begging from the outside for what he wants. The transformation comes when he stops masquerading and actually dwells in the feeling of being what he desires. The mind a person occupies, held and lived from as his own, is the power that objectifies his world. To take on that mind is simply to imagine from the end.

  1. Pick the version of yourself you keep saying you want to be, then do one small thing today as that person, not as someone practicing. Answer the email the way they would answer it.
  2. With the next person you talk to, drop the performance of being fine or being impressive and just be the steadier person you say you want to be. One honest sentence will do it.
  3. When something goes wrong this afternoon, pause before reacting and ask how the person you want to be would handle this, then handle it that way. Not as an act, from the inside.

Are you admiring the person you want to be, or are you being them?
