Proverbs 10:6 · World English Bible
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
A mind that has chosen to see innocence wears peace as its natural condition, and blessing rests upon it because it has stopped attacking and so has nothing to fear in return. What crowns such a mind is not reward but the simple absence of guilt, the quiet that comes when accusation is finally laid down.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
A mind that has chosen to see innocence wears peace as its natural condition, and blessing rests upon it because it has stopped attacking and so has nothing to fear in return. What crowns such a mind is not reward but the simple absence of guilt, the quiet that comes when accusation is finally laid down.
The fearful mind, by contrast, is stopped up by its own attack, its speech choked with the violence it aimed outward and now cannot escape. Every judgment thrown at another lands back on the one who threw it, so the mind that condemns is silenced by the very guilt it tried to be rid of.
Head: the crowning condition of a mind at peace, where blessing rests once it has stopped attacking and laid down all accusation Mouth: the mind's expression stopped up by its own attack, the speech choked with the violence it aimed outward and cannot escape
Christian Psychology lens
What would today feel like if I threw nothing at anyone?
The one who does not contend has nothing to defend, and so nothing stands against them. Peace is not a reward for winning, it is what is left when you stop fighting.
He abused me, he struck me, he robbed me. Those who carry such thoughts never put down their anger, and those who set the thoughts down are free of it.
Shaming speech harms three people at once, the one spoken of, the one who listens, and the one who speaks. The speaker usually keeps the deepest cut.
