Proverbs 11:5 Meaning The Righteousness of the Blameless Will Direct

The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way, but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

What does Proverbs 11:5 mean?

For a mind made whole, the road needs no searching out; being undivided, it is already walking straight, because nothing in it leans toward attack. The way is not a place to find but the natural line of a mind that wants only one thing.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY

Christian Psychology

For a mind made whole, the road needs no searching out; being undivided, it is already walking straight, because nothing in it leans toward attack. The way is not a place to find but the natural line of a mind that wants only one thing.

What stumbles is not punished from above. The wish to attack is itself the fall, for a mind that chooses fear has already left the path it was looking for. It trips over the very thing it was carrying, and setting the burden down is the whole of its rescue.

Way: the road of the mind, which opens of itself when the wish is single and closes when it is divided

  1. When you catch yourself scheming about how to handle someone, stop and ask what you would do if you simply wanted things to go well for them too. The next step usually shows itself.
  2. Do one small thing for someone today with no second move attached to it. No follow-up, no mention of it later.
  3. When you trip over your own irritation in traffic or in a meeting, do not hunt for who caused it. Set it down and the road ahead opens on its own.

What am I carrying that I keep tripping over and still have not thought to put down?
