Proverbs 19:9 · World English Bible
A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who utters lies shall perish.
Again the false witness is named, and the lesson deepens: the accusing voice within not only binds the mind but works its undoing, for a self that lives by attack must eventually be consumed by it. To speak the lie of separation, over and over, is to keep feeding a thing that has no life except the belief lent to it, and that belief is exhausting.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
Again the false witness is named, and the lesson deepens: the accusing voice within not only binds the mind but works its undoing, for a self that lives by attack must eventually be consumed by it. To speak the lie of separation, over and over, is to keep feeding a thing that has no life except the belief lent to it, and that belief is exhausting. What perishes is not a person but the whole scaffolding of guilt the ego built.
This is not a threat but a description of a dead end. A mind cannot arrive anywhere real while it testifies falsely, and the moment it stops, the false witness has nothing left to say and simply ceases to be.
Witness: the ego's inner voice of accusation, the false testimony that must finally undo the mind that trusts it

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
The warning sharpens here. The liar does not merely get caught. He perishes. A life woven from falsehood has no load-bearing structure inside it. When the pressure comes, and it always comes, the whole edifice gives way and takes the builder down with it. To speak lies habitually is to construct your own dwelling out of rot.
The destruction grows from the inside, from the widening gap between the world as the liar describes it and the world as it stands. Eventually he falls through that gap. Speak honestly, and you keep your footing on something firm. Deceive for long enough, and nothing solid remains beneath you at all.
Christian Psychology lens
What grudge am I keeping alive with my own breath?
Anger is a fire that burns the one holding it long before it reaches anyone else. Feed it daily and there is nothing left to feed.
What is forced cannot last. A way of living built on attack wears itself out and collapses without anyone pushing it over.
No one is punished more by rage than the person who carries it. The sentence is served from the inside.
