Proverbs 26:6 · World English Bible
One who sends a message by the hand of a fool is cutting off feet and drinking violence.
When a mind entrusts its purpose to fear, it cripples the very thing it hoped to carry forward. To send love's message by the ego's hand is to ask separation to deliver union, and the errand can only fail, for fear distorts whatever it is given and returns harm to the one who sent it.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
When a mind entrusts its purpose to fear, it cripples the very thing it hoped to carry forward. To send love's message by the ego's hand is to ask separation to deliver union, and the errand can only fail, for fear distorts whatever it is given and returns harm to the one who sent it.
The damage is self-inflicted, drunk down by the mind that chose the wrong messenger. Nothing outside did the wounding. The correction is to change the hand, to let the message be carried by the teacher who does not disfigure it, and then what is sent arrives whole.
Hand: the messenger the mind chooses to carry its purpose, faithful when it is love and crippling when it is fear. Feet: the mind's power to move toward its goal, cut off when its own purpose is entrusted to what would betray it.
Christian Psychology lens
Who was carrying my last message, the part of me that wanted to help, or the part that wanted to be done?
Water benefits everything without struggling. What is carried in the right spirit arrives, and what is forced arrives spoiled.
The act takes its character from the state you were in when you did it. A good deed done in resentment delivers the resentment.
The cup you pour from flavors the water. A teaching passed through an unsettled mind reaches the other person unsettled.
