Proverbs 30:31 · World English Bible
the greyhound; the male goat; and the king against whom there is no rising up.
There is a bearing in the mind that moves without being resisted, and it belongs to whatever is grounded in truth rather than braced against attack. The greyhound runs unhindered, the he goat leads its flock without being challenged, and the king holds authority no one rises against.

CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGY
There is a bearing in the mind that moves without being resisted, and it belongs to whatever is grounded in truth rather than braced against attack. The greyhound runs unhindered, the he goat leads its flock without being challenged, and the king holds authority no one rises against. Each pictures a state of mind so settled in what is real that nothing appears to oppose it.
The ego imagines every advance must be forced through an enemy line, and so it meets opposition everywhere it looks. But a mind that has laid down attack finds nothing standing in its way, because it has stopped putting anything there. Its ease is not conquest over others; it is simply what freedom looks like once the belief in adversaries has quietly fallen away.
Greyhound: the part of the mind that moves swiftly and unhindered, carried forward by truth rather than driven by fear. He goat: the aspect that leads without being challenged, the natural authority of a mind at rest in what it is. King: the mind established in its own reality, whose rule meets no rebellion because it has ceased to see anything outside itself as a threat.

Where today am I fighting something that was never actually blocking me?
Water moves wherever it goes without struggling, because it does not fight what it meets. Its power is in not opposing.
The skilled butcher's blade never dulls, because he finds the openings already there instead of hacking through the bone.
Act from what is steady in you rather than from craving or fear, and the action moves freely, carried rather than forced.
