What feels most solid can move. The very ground of your existence, the assumptions you never think to question, can shudder when the moral order is violated deeply enough.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
What feels most solid can move. The very ground of your existence, the assumptions you never think to question, can shudder when the moral order is violated deeply enough. The ancient poet reaches for the biggest image he can find, the trembling of mountains, to convey a rage that answers monstrous injustice.
Most people flinch from that idea, preferring a comfortable God who disturbs nothing. But a universe with no floor beneath its ethics is one where cruelty costs nothing. The shaking of the hills is a promise. Some wrongs provoke a response that moves the world to its base.
Clinical Psychology lens
What have I been treating as costless that is quietly costing someone?
Heaven's net is wide and its mesh is coarse, yet nothing slips through. The response is slow, not absent.
The wrong deed does not cut at once, like a blade. It follows, quietly, and arrives with its full weight.
When right order collapses badly enough, something rises to answer it. Cruelty does not have the last word.
