Psalms 23:5 Meaning You Prepare a Table Before Me

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over.

What does Psalms 23:5 mean?

A person is fed and crowned while the opposing forces still stand around, the fears and appetites of the flesh watching but no longer able to seize. The head is anointed with oil, and oil is the fine substance of consciousness that rises through the spine and gathers at the crown, so that the highest center is lit and running full.

Esoteric

A person is fed and crowned while the opposing forces still stand around, the fears and appetites of the flesh watching but no longer able to seize. The head is anointed with oil, and oil is the fine substance of consciousness that rises through the spine and gathers at the crown, so that the highest center is lit and running full.

The cup is the skull and the brain it holds, the vessel of awareness, and when it overflows the inner light has filled past its own rim. The lower forces surround the table and get nothing, because the whole supply has moved upward into the head.

Table: the settled inner nourishment laid out for the awakening self while lower forces watch Oil: the refined substance of consciousness that rises through the spine to anoint the crown Head: the highest center, the seat of consciousness that receives the anointing Cup: the skull and brain, the vessel of awareness filled past overflowing

Live Psalms 23:5 today

  1. Eat one meal today without your phone, without reading, just the food. Being fed and knowing it is the whole thing.
  2. Be generous with someone who is hard on you, not as a tactic, just because you have enough to spare. Full cups do that on their own.
  3. When critics are in the room, real or in your head, keep doing the work in front of you. They can sit at the edge of the table and still get nothing from you.

What would change today if you acted like your cup was already full?

No one can take your inner good from you, no matter who is standing around. What is yours is untouchable because it was never out there.

Goodwill is offered first to yourself, then outward to those who oppose you. The fullness is so complete it spills past your own edges.
