MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The God of salvation is your own I AM, the awareness of being that saves a person by lifting him out of one state into another. It is not a rescuer in the sky. It is the imagining power within, and salvation is what happens when a person leaves a condition he no longer wants and rises into the one he does, brought up by nothing but his own consciousness.

The issues from death belong to this God, and death here is the sleep of forgetfulness, the state in which a person does not know who he is. To hold the issues from death is to hold the way out of every dead condition, the exits from every state that feels final. A person is never sealed in. The awareness that says I am is the doorway out of whatever has buried him, and it opens the moment he claims a new state as his own and feels himself already there.

Live Psalms 68:20 today

  1. When you feel stuck today, name the state out loud, then spend one minute feeling what it would be like to already be out of it. That feeling is the door.
  2. If a friend tells you they are trapped, do not fix it. Help them picture themselves on the other side of it, and keep that picture steady for them.
  3. In a tense moment at work, instead of bracing for the worst, quietly assume the way through and act like someone who has already found it. Then do the next small thing.

Which situation have I decided is final, when I have never once tried feeling my way out of it?

No state of mind is permanent, so no suffering is a sealed room. Seeing that is itself the opening.

Bhagavad Gita 6

You lift yourself by yourself, and you sink by yourself too. The self is its own friend and its own way out.
