Psalms 9:10 Meaning Those Who Know Your Name Will Put

Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you.

What does Psalms 9:10 mean?

The name to be known is I AM, and knowing it means recognizing it as your own awareness of being, not a title belonging to someone else. Trust follows knowledge here for a plain reason: once you see that the name is your own I-am-ness, trusting it is simply trusting the creative power at your center.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The name to be known is I AM, and knowing it means recognizing it as your own awareness of being, not a title belonging to someone else. Trust follows knowledge here for a plain reason: once you see that the name is your own I-am-ness, trusting it is simply trusting the creative power at your center. To assume a state and feel it as so, against everything reason denies, is what putting your trust in the name looks like from the inside.

The promise that this power never forsakes the seeker is exact, because the seeker and the sought are one awareness. You cannot be abandoned by the I AM when the I AM is the very self doing the seeking. Every name in scripture is a state you pass through on the way to this recognition. The one who knows his own name rests on it, because the God he trusts is the awareness by which he knows he exists.

Live Psalms 9:10 today

  1. When you first wake and reach for the phone, stop for thirty seconds and simply sit in the fact that you are. Start the day from that instead of from the screen.
  2. If someone tells you they feel abandoned or lost today, do not rush to fix it. Stay with them and remind them, in your own plain words, that the part of them doing the searching is still fully here.
  3. In a moment when everything looks like it is going wrong, hold the quiet read that it is handled, even with no evidence. Let that be your actual position for the next hour, not a hope you are waiting on.

If the thing you trust is the same awareness doing the trusting, what is there left to be afraid of?

Upanishads

The self you are looking for is the one looking. It cannot abandon you, because there is no distance between the seeker and what is sought.

A wave spends its life afraid of drowning. It never left the ocean, and neither have you.
