Revelation 10:7 Meaning But in the Days of the Voice

but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as he declared to his servants, the prophets.

What does Revelation 10:7 mean?

The seventh angel is the highest of the inner energy centers, the crown station of consciousness, and its sounding is that center coming fully awake in a person. The number 7 symbolizes completion, the full ascent through the ranks of the body's spiritual centers from the base to the top of the head.

The seventh angel is the highest of the inner energy centers, the crown station of consciousness, and its sounding is that center coming fully awake in a person. The number 7 symbolizes completion, the full ascent through the ranks of the body's spiritual centers from the base to the top of the head. When the last of these begins to vibrate, the hidden work is done: the mystery of God, meaning the divine buried in flesh, stands finished and known. The prophets who were told this are the earlier awakened faculties that always carried the promise of this completion within.

The long inner climb through a person's own centers reaches its end when the highest one awakens, and what was hidden inside the body becomes fully known.

Live Revelation 10:7 today

  1. Pick one thing you have been working at slowly, a habit, a repair, a practice, and give it ten honest minutes today. Long climbs are finished in ordinary small pieces like this one.
  2. Tell someone who has been at something for years that you see the distance they have covered. Most people only ever hear about the part that is still unfinished.
  3. When you feel like giving up on something half built, stay with it for one more round rather than starting over somewhere else. Most of what looks like failure is just the middle.

What is nearly finished in me that I keep treating as barely begun?

The long climb through the body's energy centers is said to end at the crown, where the seeker and what was sought are no longer two. Nothing new is added, the last gate simply opens.

Zen

The pointing finger is not the moon, and after years of study the teaching is that what you were looking for was never far off. The search ends by arriving where you already stood.

Sufism · Rumi

He wrote that what you seek is seeking you. The journey turns out to have been toward something already inside the traveler.
