Revelation 16:12 Meaning The Sixth Poured Out His Bowl

The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings that come from the sunrise.

What does Revelation 16:12 mean?

The drying of the great river is the drying up of truth in those who read this book as a war between nations. They hear “kings of the east” and go looking for armies on a map, and to make the prophecy fit they invent the evidence, forcing scripture to point at a country they already wish to fight.

The drying of the great river is the drying up of truth in those who read this book as a war between nations. They hear “kings of the east” and go looking for armies on a map, and to make the prophecy fit they invent the evidence, forcing scripture to point at a country they already wish to fight. The river itself is the descending stream of spirit, the life-force pouring down from the right side of the head, and the east is that same right hemisphere where the higher light lives.

So 2 currents run here at once. The east is the seat of the awakened side of the brain, and the sixth vial poured upon the water is the moment the flowing truth is emptied out of a mind that has traded the inner meaning for a doomsday headline. When the river of understanding goes dry, all that remains is a fear of far-off wars.

Euphrates: the descending stream of spirit and life-force pouring down from the right side of the head East: the right hemisphere of the brain, where the higher light rises Angel: an angle, a turning-point of force within the head Water: the truth that flows through a person

Live Revelation 16:12 today

  1. Catch one headline or clip today that spikes your fear and ask what it wants from you besides your attention. Then put the phone down and look out the window for a minute.
  2. In a group chat getting worked up about something far away, be the one who does not add fuel. Ask instead what any of you can actually do about anything within reach.
  3. When someone is certain and angry and wants you to agree, stay kind and do not pretend to be certain with them. You can care about the person without joining the alarm.

Where have I let a story about far-off trouble replace the understanding that was supposed to change me?
