Revelation 17:14 Meaning These Will War Against the Lamb

These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and those who are with him are called chosen and faithful.

What does Revelation 17:14 mean?

The war is the inner conflict between the animal appetites and the pure awakened consciousness, and the outcome is never in doubt. The Lamb is the gentle risen self, the Christ awareness born in a person, and it overcomes the lower drives not by force but because it operates at the highest vibration, ruling the lesser powers the way spirit always rules flesh once it wakes.

Esoteric

The war is the inner conflict between the animal appetites and the pure awakened consciousness, and the outcome is never in doubt. The Lamb is the gentle risen self, the Christ awareness born in a person, and it overcomes the lower drives not by force but because it operates at the highest vibration, ruling the lesser powers the way spirit always rules flesh once it wakes. The armies that make war are the scattered desires and fears that once governed the body, and they lose because they are lower on the ladder. The ones who stand with the Lamb are the faculties within a person that have answered the call, been sorted from the rest, and held steady, the parts of the mind aligned with the awakened center.

What plays out here is the settling of a single nervous system. When the pure awareness rises, the raw drives that fought it are simply overtaken, and the mind that stayed loyal to that inner light comes through whole.

Lamb: the gentle awakened self within, the Christ awareness that rules the lower drives by its higher vibration Lord of lords, King of kings: the crowning of that awakened center as the governing power over every lesser faculty They that are with him: the faculties of a person that have answered, been sorted out, and held steady beside the inner light

Live Revelation 17:14 today

  1. When your thoughts are churning tonight, do not argue with them. Sit for three minutes and let them settle the way silt settles, without reaching in.
  2. If someone comes at you heated today, answer at half their volume. Not as a tactic, just because the quieter voice is the one that holds the room steady.
  3. Under pressure at work, the part of you that stays calm is not weaker than the part that wants to fight. Choose the calm one once today and watch which one the situation actually follows.

Which part of me do I let make the decisions when things get loud?

Tao Te Ching 78

Nothing in the world is softer than water, yet nothing is better at wearing down what is hard. The yielding overcomes the forceful, and everyone knows this and few live it.

Zen

A still mind is like a clear pool. The mud does not have to be fought, it settles on its own once you stop stirring the water.

Bhagavad Gita 6

For the one who has steadied the mind, that same mind becomes the closest friend. For the one who has not, it stays the opponent.
