Revelation 18:23 · World English Bible

Revelation 18:23 Meaning The Light of a Lamp Will Shine

The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you; for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.

What does Revelation 18:23 mean?

When the inner light goes dark this is the spine gone unlit: the candle is the spinal column, and its flame dies when no energy rises through it, so the body stands without its own light. With that light gone the inner marriage falls silent too.

When the inner light goes dark this is the spine gone unlit: the candle is the spinal column, and its flame dies when no energy rises through it, so the body stands without its own light. With that light gone the inner marriage falls silent too. The bridegroom is the sun, Christ consciousness, and the bride is the pituitary; their union is the holy oil rising to meet the higher mind, and where the spine is dead that meeting is never heard.

The deceiving sorceries are the impulses of false traditional authority, the outward voices that sold the mind, the earth, on borrowed belief until the whole of a person was misled away from the light within.

Candle: the human spine, the column whose flame goes out when no energy rises through it Bridegroom: the sun, Christ consciousness, the higher mind that descends to meet the body Bride: the pituitary gland, the receiving inner presence whose union with the higher mind is the sacred marriage Earth: the mind, the ground of a person sold on false belief by outward authority

  1. Take one strong opinion you hold and trace where it came from. If the honest answer is a video, a headline or someone you admire, admit that and leave the question open today.
  2. In a conversation, instead of repeating what everyone around you says, say what you actually think, even if it is only "I am not sure yet."
  3. When a confident voice online tells you what to feel about something today, close the tab before you decide. Give your own sense of it one day to speak first.
