Revelation 19:7 Meaning Let’s Rejoice and Be Exceedingly Glad

Let’s rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let’s give the glory to him. For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.

What does Revelation 19:7 mean?

The marriage is the inner union of the 2 natures within a single person: the Lamb, the gentle risen spirit, joined to the soul it has purified. There is no second person in this wedding; the bride is the receptive lower self at last made clean enough to be wed to the higher.

ESOTERIC

Esoteric

The marriage is the inner union of the 2 natures within a single person: the Lamb, the gentle risen spirit, joined to the soul it has purified. There is no second person in this wedding; the bride is the receptive lower self at last made clean enough to be wed to the higher. The gladness is the body's whole system coming into one, the long division between spirit and flesh closing inside the one who has done the work.

What happens in a person is the completion of an inner joining that no outside ceremony performs. The higher and lower selves that fought become one household, and the readiness of the bride is simply the lower nature finally fit to hold the spirit.

AWARENESS

Indian Guru

Two things inside a person are searching for each other, and no effort can arrange the meeting. The bride making herself ready is receptivity: the mind emptied of its noise, the false center loosened, so that what has always been present finds room. Readiness is the whole work, and then the wedding happens on its own.

Rejoicing is the doorway, not a reward that comes afterward. Someone who denies life, who shrinks and hardens against it, has not made himself ready; celebration is the very softening through which the guest arrives.

Live Revelation 19:7 today

  1. Find the part of yourself you argue with most, your body, your temper, your slowness, and spend today treating it as a member of the household rather than an intruder.
  2. With one person you keep half an argument running with in your head, drop your side of it for a day. Speak to them as if the fight were already settled.
  3. When you catch yourself split in a pressured moment, wanting to do the thing and hating that you want it, name both halves silently and let them stand together instead of choosing a winner.

Where am I still at war with a part of me that is ready to come home?
