Revelation 2:26 Meaning He Who Overcomes

He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.

What does Revelation 2:26 mean?

To overcome is to hold the feeling of your wish fulfilled steadily against every appearance that says it is not so, keeping that inner work up until the end, until it stands as fact. Life is an obstacle race your own imagination runs, and the nations are the many states of consciousness a person moves through and can be given rule over.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

To overcome is to hold the feeling of your wish fulfilled steadily against every appearance that says it is not so, keeping that inner work up until the end, until it stands as fact. Life is an obstacle race your own imagination runs, and the nations are the many states of consciousness a person moves through and can be given rule over.

Power over the nations is not command of other people. It is the quiet mastery of your own states, so that you enter a mood by choice and are no longer dragged into fear or lack by whatever the day shows you. The one who keeps imagining the accomplished thing to the end wakes as the creative power itself, ruling the states he once merely suffered. You become the author of your moods rather than their subject.

Live Revelation 2:26 today

  1. Decide in the morning which mood you are keeping today, then keep returning to it every time the phone knocks you out of it. Not forcing, just coming back.
  2. When someone is short with you in a message or across the kitchen, let their mood stay theirs. Answer from the one you chose and watch how little it costs you.
  3. In the hard hour, the bad number, the tense call, hold the picture of this already turning out well, all the way to the end of it. Appearances get a vote, not the final say.

Who has been setting your mood today, you or the last thing that happened?

You cannot choose what the day brings, only the state you meet it in. That choice is the only real power anyone has.

Bhagavad Gita 6

The one who has steadied his own mind is at rest in heat and cold, honor and insult alike. He is no longer dragged by what passes.

Tao Te Ching 33

To conquer yourself is the true victory. Everything else is borrowed strength.
