Revelation 3:4 Meaning Nevertheless You Have a Few Names

Nevertheless you have a few names in Sardis that didn’t defile their garments. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

What does Revelation 3:4 mean?

Even in a center gone drowsy, a few energies keep themselves clean and rise. Sardis is the throat, the seat of speech and expression fallen into a kind of sleep, living on its old name while the life in it fades.

ESOTERIC

Esoteric

Even in a center gone drowsy, a few energies keep themselves clean and rise. Sardis is the throat, the seat of speech and expression fallen into a kind of sleep, living on its old name while the life in it fades. The garments are the subtle bodies of thought and feeling a person wears, and keeping them undefiled is holding those inner coverings free of the stain that coarse desire leaves. The few names are the pure currents in that drowsy center that never took the soil of the lower appetites.

Walking in white is those clean energies moving with the spirit, the mind washed to its own brightness, worthy because nothing base clings to them.

Sardis: the throat center, grown drowsy and living on its old name while its life fades Garments: the subtle bodies of thought and feeling a person wears, which take the stain of coarse desire White: the spirit, the mind cleaned to its own brightness

Live Revelation 3:4 today

  1. Watch what your own words do to you today. One sentence of gossip or contempt leaves a film on your mind, so let one of them go unsaid and feel the difference.
  2. When the group chat turns to tearing someone down, stay in it but do not add to it, or change the subject gently. You can keep your own coat clean without lecturing anyone.
  3. In a workplace or a family where the tone is harsh, speak once in your own voice, plain and kind, even if nobody matches it. One clear current in a drowsy room is enough.

What have I let myself say lately that I would not want to carry around all day?
