Romans 1:16 Meaning For I Am Not Ashamed

For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

What does Romans 1:16 mean?

The gospel is the power of God because Christ is your own imagination, and imagination is the one force that saves. Salvation comes to everyone who believes, which means everyone who assumes the feeling of his wish fulfilled and lives from it, for that assumption is how the future is altered toward the thing believed.

MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The gospel is the power of God because Christ is your own imagination, and imagination is the one force that saves. Salvation comes to everyone who believes, which means everyone who assumes the feeling of his wish fulfilled and lives from it, for that assumption is how the future is altered toward the thing believed. There is nothing shameful in this. It is the actual working power behind every event.

The Word you form inwardly and send out is Christ, and to believe is to operate that power rather than merely admire it. You are the servant garment your imagination wears, and it acts through you when you act it. Whoever inwardly claims the state he desires, and holds it as already so, sets in motion the only power there is. That claiming is what saves him.

ESOTERIC

The good news is an inner power, not a report about a distant man, and it works in whoever turns toward it. Jew and Greek are 2 natures in one person rather than 2 peoples: the devotional, inward temperament and the reasoning, outward one. The current reaches the inward heart first and then the thinking mind, because the feeling nature receives before the intellect does.

The saving force is the rising energy itself, available to every part of a person that opens to it, whichever door it enters.

Jew: the inward, devotional temperament in a person, the heart that receives the current first. Greek: the reasoning, outward-looking mind in a person, the intellect that receives after the heart.

Live Romans 1:16 today

  1. On your commute, instead of running through what might go wrong, hold one thing you want as already settled and let yourself feel the relief of it being done.
  2. When someone tells you their worry, do not pile on advice. Quietly hold them in your mind as the person who has already come through it, then speak to them like that is true.
  3. In the moment a notification lands that makes your stomach drop, give it ten seconds before you react, and answer from the version of you that already handled it.

What would I do differently today if the thing I want were already mine?

Everything begins in the mind. What you think with, you build with, and the life around you is made of the thoughts you keep returning to.

Yoga Vasistha

The world takes the shape the mind gives it. Hold firmly to a thing inwardly and it hardens into fact; the imagining is the making.
