Abraham is the state in which a promise takes hold, imagination consenting to become what it has not yet seen. To believe God here is to accept your own awareness of being as the source and to take the desired thing as already granted by it.

MANIFESTATION
Abraham is the state in which a promise takes hold, imagination consenting to become what it has not yet seen. To believe God here is to accept your own awareness of being as the source and to take the desired thing as already granted by it. That acceptance is at once counted as righteousness, which is simply being set right, the inner books balanced the moment the assumption is made and not one day later when the outer proof arrives.
This is calling a thing that does not appear as though it already stood before you. Nothing is added, nothing is earned by effort. A person receives only what he is willing to be conscious of being, and the instant he holds himself as having the thing, he is accounted as having it. Believing is the deed. The state assumed and inwardly affirmed is credited at once, and in time the world pays out what was already reckoned as his.

What am I waiting for proof of before I will let myself feel it?
The pupil asked when the training would be finished. The teacher said the moment you accept you are already home, the walking becomes the arriving.
The mind is either your closest friend or your worst opponent, and which one it is gets decided the instant you take your stand in it.
What you are seeking is seeking you. The longing itself is the first half of the answer arriving.
