Romans 9:33 Meaning Even as It Is Written
even as it is written, “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed.”

Romans 9:33 · World English Bible
even as it is written, “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed.”
The rock laid in Zion is God, and God here is your own imagination, the one power on which everything rests. It becomes a stumblingstone because the mind trained on facts trips over it.
From the Manifestation reading below.
The same verse, read by one tradition.

MANIFESTATION
The rock laid in Zion is God, and God here is your own imagination, the one power on which everything rests. It becomes a stumblingstone because the mind trained on facts trips over it. To be told that what you imagine and feel as real is the ground of your world offends the senses, which insist that only the visible is solid. So the very foundation looks to reason like an obstacle set in the road.
The one who believes on this rock is the one who trusts imagination over the report of his eyes, and he is not put to shame, because what he assumes and holds hardens into fact. Zion is the settled inner state a person stands upon and lives from. The stone that reason stumbles on is the same stone that carries anyone willing to stand on it.
Manifestation lens
What in my life am I calling impossible only because the evidence has not caught up yet?
The way looks foolish to the clever and empty to the practical. What carries everything is exactly what the sharp mind dismisses as nothing.
The teaching lands like a stone in the road for a student who wants proof first. The one who stops demanding proof finds the stone was the ground.
The self everything rests upon cannot be seen the way objects are seen, so the senses report it as absent. Those who trust it anyway stand on something that never gives way.
