Song of Solomon 7:10 · World English Bible
I am my beloved’s. His desire is toward me.
There comes a moment when you stop struggling against life and simply belong to it. You no longer stand apart, defending a separate self, negotiating with each experience.
From the Ego v. Being reading below.
The same verse, read by 2 traditions.

EGO & BEING
There comes a moment when you stop struggling against life and simply belong to it. You no longer stand apart, defending a separate self, negotiating with each experience. You say, I am life's, and life's movement is toward me, and a deep peace replaces the old resistance.
This belonging is not weakness. When you surrender your demand that the present be other than it is, you discover that life was never against you. The same intelligence that moves the seasons meets you the moment you stop resisting. You belong to life, and life responds by meeting you exactly where you are.

SUFISM
There is a way of loving that clutches, that tries to own the beloved and grows anxious the moment the grip loosens. That grasping is the heart's fever, and its cure is to let belonging run the other way, to rest in being wanted rather than straining to seize.
A spring does not chase the stream that flows from it. When someone can say she belongs to her beloved and his longing turns toward her, the giver and the gift show themselves as one current, love answering itself across what only seemed a gap.
Ego v. Being lens
What am I pushing against that is simply the shape of today?
Stop fighting the current and the river carries you. Life was never aimed against you, only against your grip.
Do not ask that things happen as you wish, but wish them to happen as they do. Peace lives on that one turn.
Spring comes and the grass grows by itself. Nothing had to be forced for the world to meet you.
