Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lensightful, a Bible reader and reflective companion. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Read them in full, ask us if anything is unclear, and remember you can stop using the app at any time.

Who we are

Lensightful (we, us) provides the Lensightful mobile and web app. Contact: hello@lensightful.com.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and UK) to use Lensightful. Keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, write to us.

How you may use Lensightful

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Lensightful for your own reflection and study. You may save, highlight, share, and generate interpretations the way the app allows. You may not resell or redistribute the app, scrape the service, or use it to build a competing product.

Content you create

You keep ownership of the notes, highlights, reflections, and other content you create in the app. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content so the app can work for you. If you choose to share content publicly inside the app (for example, a community post), you grant the people you share with the right to see it.

Community standards

If you post in shared spaces inside Lensightful, you agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, or otherwise abusive.
• Post content that depicts or sexualizes minors. This includes any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), which we report to authorities.
• Impersonate others, scrape the service, or post spam.
• Interfere with other people's use of the app.

You can report a post in the app from the post's overflow menu. You can block any user from your settings. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that violate these terms. Apple's Standard EULA terms also apply if you installed Lensightful through the App Store, and prevail in any conflict.

Interpretations are guidance, not authority

Lensightful generates interpretations using AI, drawing on public sources and the lens you choose. They are reading suggestions, not religious instruction or counseling. Use your own discernment. Lensightful is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or pastoral advice.

Subscriptions and purchases

The Bible itself is always free to read. A paid subscription unlocks unlimited readings and other premium features. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in the platform's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play). Refunds are handled by the platform under its own policies. Prices may change with notice before the next renewal.

Privacy

Your privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy. By using Lensightful you agree to the practices it describes.

Changes to the service

We update Lensightful regularly: features come and go, copy improves, plans evolve. We may also update these terms. When we make material changes we will update the date above and let you know in the app where appropriate.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, then Profile. We may suspend or end access to accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to others. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations) will survive termination.

Disclaimers

Lensightful is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that interpretations will be perfectly accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lensightful and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for direct damages will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Lensightful is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.

Apple Standard EULA

If you obtained Lensightful through the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies and prevails over any conflicting term in this document. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Lensightful.
