MANIFESTATION

Manifestation

The one Lord is your own awareness of being, the single power at work behind every experience. No crowd of forces competes for a life. One power answers to whatever a person assumes himself to be, and every apparent second cause is that same power wearing a mask.

Faith is the acceptance that makes an assumption solid to you before the senses confirm it. Baptism is immersion, being plunged so completely into a chosen state that you rise up as a new man, wet with a new self-conception. All three name one movement. One power, taken as certain, entered fully, and a person emerges changed. The unity is no doctrine to admire from a distance. Consciousness is the only actor, and what it accepts as so is what it becomes.

  1. Before you start the day, settle on one thing you are taking as true about yourself and stop auditioning alternatives all morning.
  2. When a friend lists all the forces stacked against them, do not pile on. Hold steady with them in the better outcome as if it were already settled.
  3. When bad news arrives by email or phone, resist naming a villain, and act as though one power is at work and you are already inside it.

What am I treating as a second power running my life?
