The promise to dwell among a people is not about a distant ruler taking up residence in a nation. It points to something nearer than your own breath.

EGO & BEING
The promise to dwell among a people is not about a distant ruler taking up residence in a nation. It points to something nearer than your own breath. The presence that animates you, the awareness in which every thought and sensation arises, has never been anywhere else.
To say it will be your God is to say that this presence becomes the ground you live from, rather than the noise of the mind. When you know yourself as this awareness, you are no longer driven by fear and endless wanting. You rest in the one thing that was always dwelling within you.
