Ezekiel 1:9 · World English Bible
Their wings were joined to one another. They didn’t turn when they went. Each one went straight forward.
The wings joined one to another are the paired structures around the third eye meeting as one, the temple architecture of the brain fitted together so the inner powers move in a single accord. Their going straight forward without turning is the undeviating motion of awakened faculties: what is aligned around the third eye advances without swerving, each part holding its true course.

ESOTERIC
The wings joined one to another are the paired structures around the third eye meeting as one, the temple architecture of the brain fitted together so the inner powers move in a single accord. Their going straight forward without turning is the undeviating motion of awakened faculties: what is aligned around the third eye advances without swerving, each part holding its true course.
That they turn not is the steadiness of a mind whose centers are joined, no longer pulled aside by the lower agitations. When the structures around the inner eye are set as one and face forward, awareness moves straight into its own light rather than wandering.

Esoteric lens
Where are you swerving today, and what would it feel like to go straight?
The person whose faculties move together, undisturbed by pull and push, has a steadiness that does not depend on circumstances staying pleasant.
The mind collected and one-pointed goes straight, while the scattered mind wanders everywhere and arrives nowhere. Unity of mind is itself the forward motion.
He wrote of going straight on, not turned aside by praise or blame, like something that keeps its own course because its inside is not divided.
