Isaac is blind and judges not by sight but by touch, and this is exactly how an assumption is claimed. Feeling is the confirming sense.

MANIFESTATION
Isaac is blind and judges not by sight but by touch, and this is exactly how an assumption is claimed. Feeling is the confirming sense. A desire is not established by looking at it or reasoning about it. It settles in only when a person draws near enough to feel it as present, as though the wanted thing were already in the hand.
Jacob wears the appearance of another to receive the blessing, and this repeats inside every act of assuming. A person puts on a state that the senses would deny, and by feeling it close he takes the blessing that belongs to it. What convinces the deeper self is not the outer fact but the inner touch. The state a person feels as present becomes the one he lives.

Which do I trust more, what I can argue for or what I can feel?
What the mind holds continuously and with warm attention takes root and becomes a groove. Dry repetition without feeling leaves nothing behind.
He said the heart knows by taste, not by argument. You can be told about honey for years and know nothing until it is on your tongue.
A student who understands with the head is sent back. The teaching has to be felt in the belly before it counts as his.
